What is bespoke software?
Bespoke software is custom-built for one business and the way it works, instead of an off-the-shelf product you have to adapt to. It can be a single tool, or a whole system that joins your CRM, diary, team's phones and the other tools you already use.
What can you build?
Anything that runs on your business information: a diary for the whole team, a job board, an app for your team's phones, a booking page for partners, automatic reports, or all of them joined together. If you can describe it, we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth building.
How long does it take?
It depends on what we're building. After the clickable mock-up you get a fixed price and a timeline before work starts, and we build in stages, so you see it take shape as we go.
Do I need a CRM first?
It's usually where we start, because everything else needs one place for your customers, enquiries, quotes and jobs. If you already have one that works, we'll look at joining your new system to it instead.
Do I have to replace my existing software?
Not necessarily. Our preference is to work with the systems you already use where that makes practical sense. We'll assess whether they can be connected or improved. If an existing tool has limitations, we'll explain the options and any trade-offs before recommending changes.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the type of work, the complexity of the solution and the support required. A project may involve an initial discovery or consulting phase, a one-off implementation fee and, where appropriate, ongoing support. Some solutions may also involve third-party software or usage charges. We'll explain the proposed scope and costs before you commit to paid work. Every project gets a fixed price before work starts.
What happens to my system and data if we stop working together?
They're yours to keep. Your data belongs to you and you can export it at any time. If we stop working together for any reason, even if we stop trading, we hand over the full system, its code and all your data within 30 days, so you can keep using it. The running costs are then yours.
